A Day with my mom

Yesterday was pretty great, I got to spend the day with my mom. That is not something that I would have said in the same sentence in the past. But as I thought it through, I realized that I have gained freedom of the past so that I can enjoy the present. I gained personal growth and didn't allow minor things to trigger me, which would have been difficult for me in the past. I could not believe how much I truly appreciate hanging out with my mom, it was a glimpse of how far I have come. I am so grateful for the wonderful memories I created yesterday 😊
